FE Tellier Guitars
On my early retirement in 2005 as an industrial controls electrician, I decided to follow up on my lifelong love of guitars and build myself an acoustic guitar. The 1st was a Martin OMC Rosewood kit and I was hooked. The 1st guitar is still with me but most instruments I built after that have moved on to other players.
My goal as a builder is to create an instrument that the client and I are both extremely proud of in both sound and appearance. I take pride in my communication with clients and am willing to allow input on the design and ascetics of the build as long as it is within my skill and does not affect the quality of the build. The creation of a custom instrument needs to be an enjoyable experience for a client so I will be as open and cooperative as possible. I pride myself on having in stock a selection of the highest quality instrument woods available, but I can also obtain whatever my clients desire for their project.
All guitars are voiced using the latest technology to create a tone suitable for the playing style of the client.
I build all sizes of acoustic steel string guitars from 0 to jumbo and am always willing to add a shape or size to my offering. Also available are crossover nylon stringed instruments, baritones guitars up to 28″ scale, fan frets, bouzoukis, octave mandolins, and ukuleles.
I have a few speculation instruments I’ve built on hand – not advertised here. Please contact me for info and pricing.
Due to my increased efficiency and Covid issues, I have a couple of build slots that can be made available in 2022, and together we can work out pricing that can be quite reasonable.
