This guitar is a 16” archtop with a very tight-grained one-piece Redwood top, and a one-piece quilted Mahogany back. The fingerboard is black Ebony. It has Macassar Ebony bindings and a Macassar Ebony top bevel to match the bindings. The pickguard, tailpiece, and bridge are also Macassar Ebony. The pickup is a Kent Armstrong humbucker, and the stealth tone and volume controls are under the pickguard. The guitar is designed to be mostly acoustic, with nothing touching the top but the bridge. The scale length is 24.9”, and the nut width is 1 3/4”. The fingerboard markers are hand inlaid with nearly 200 individual pieces of mother of pearl, abalone shell, and reconstituted stone. The inlay design was inspired by the drawings of Frank Lloyd Wright.
