The Woolson Soundcraft SIG (short for signature) is their most popular model. It's a mid-sized guitar with a host of innovative features. Though it has the balance and clarity that the OM is known for, the SIG's larger lower bout gives it an even better bass response. A distinctive cutaway, fan fret set-up, classical-style armrest, and side sound port really benefit this guitar's playability. Most fascinating of all though, is the double top of both Adirondack and Lutz Spruce. Though it's something that classical builders have done for decades, it's a new concept for flattop acoustics and is quite an involved process. The two thin tops sandwich an ultra-fine layer of honeycomb material in a vacuum process, creating a stiff and stable soundboard that requires only light bracing. The back and sides of beautifully figured cocobolo provide complexity and sustain.
This guitar is used but it is in excellent condition. It includes its original custom-made Karura case and a K&K pickup.
