The Vagabond 'Grande Bouche' Gypsy Jazz guitar is my interpretation of François Charle's #807 Selmer, but features a 14-fret connection with a longer 670 mm scale length making it a versatile instrument for both rhythm and lead playing.
Staying true to form with traditional build techniques, this instrument features a 3-ply veneer back and sides for improved tonality and overall strength. The torrefied spruce soundboard features a real 'pliage' or fold just behind the bridge all lending to more punch, volume, and quick attack.
Beautifully-grained Pau Ferro serves as the exterior veneer and the inner consists of a Mahogany veneer with a thin layer of shellac. All have been finished in a French polish.
